The service
CartPolish (John Aquino) provides Shopify development work: speed, fixes and improvements to your store. Monthly plans include a set number of hours, listed on the pricing page. One-off work is quoted before it starts.
Billing
Monthly plans are billed through PayPal on the same date each month. Unused hours don't roll over. Work beyond your plan's hours is $35/hour, and I'll tell you before going over.
Cancelling
Give 30 days' notice by email. You keep your plan through the end of that notice period. You can also cancel the subscription in PayPal.
Access and changes to your store
I work through Shopify collaborator access, on a copy of your theme where possible, and publish changes when you approve them. You stay the owner of your store, theme and content, and of the work I do for you once it's paid for.
Results
I measure speed and other metrics before and after changes and share the numbers. Sales depend on many things outside my control, so I don't guarantee specific revenue or ranking results.
Liability
I take care to avoid breaking anything and fix problems my work causes at no charge. Beyond that, my liability is limited to the fees you paid in the month the problem occurred.
Confidentiality
I keep your store data, sales figures and access details private and only use them to do the work.
